The School Administrator - Version 7 is a student management software
package that is suitable for elementary, middle, junior high, and high schools.
In addition, there is a district office software package that allows a
jurisdiction to maintain one large file which includes all students in the
district.
The software also has optional modules that can be purchased to enable the user
to perform specific tasks. The modules include School Attendance (full and half
day), Course Attendance, Mark/Grade Reporting, Scheduling, Fee Management and
Discipline Tracking. The price of the software is based on which modules are
required and the population of the school.
We do an excellent job of producing software for student management but we
prefer to interface to other software packages produced by experts in their own
fields. To this end, we interface to leading gradebook, library, and phone
dialing software as well as to the leading scanner vendors for entering
attendance, marks, and students' scheduling course choices.
We attempt to produce the most flexible student management software package
possible.
The Basic Program
The Basic Program allows you to enter a specific amount of data for all
students on up to 17 screens. It includes a comprehensive Report Writer that is
integrated with all of the Optional Modules. Users have the ability to query
files, choose the records in view, the fields to view and the order of the
records. It contains a Student Information File with 150 User-definable fields
with twenty of unlimited length. Addresses & Parental Information, Medical
data, Entry/Withdrawal data, Alerts that can be scheduled, as well as special
screens for Grade Incrementation and Deleting Students. A special screen for
each province/state captures information for government reporting of
demographic data in Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, Manitoba,
Alberta, British Columbia and Kansas. The Mark/Grade Module provides the
capability to submit course and mark information to these same jurisdictions.
There is an integrated backup routine and a routine for logging operations that
are performed so that they can be referenced in the future.
